Who knew Nashville had a Parthenon built to scale at the turn of the century...and it was good we decided to go upstairs and see the 41 foot statue of Athena...just unbelievable. The Nike God in Athena's hand is 6 feet tall.
This is the inside of the Ryman Auditorium, originally built as a church, housed the Grand Ole Opry for 30 years until the new one was built in 1974.

Outside of the Ryman Auditorium - actually stood empty for 20 years before it was refurbished.
Inside of the new Grand Old Opry. Sherri had a ball listening to lots of country including Montgomery Gentry, Diamond Rio, and....
